🌿 Legacy Woman Meet-Up Recap: “This Is Holy Work”

By Esther Vencia — Legacy Woman Weekly

Saturday November 22 7 pm was supposed to be one hour… but when the Holy Spirit steps in, time becomes ministry.

We started at 7 and didn’t leave until 9, because God had work to do in every single woman in the room.

This meet-up was intentional.

It was deep.

It was honest.

And it was necessary.

🤍 Accountability That Lifts, Not Judges

We talked about accountability—the kind that doesn’t shame you, but strengthens you. Accountability that holds you spiritually, emotionally, and mentally. Accountability that says:

“I’m not here to expose you.

I’m here to help you grow.”

This is the kind of community Legacy Woman is building:

Women who hold each other up, not hold each other hostage.

🤍 When “Strong Women” Get Tired

We opened up about being the strong one.

The dependable one.

The one who carries everything… even when your own arms feel weak.

We talked about the pressure behind the scenes — the silent battles, the tiredness, the fear, the overwhelm.

And in the middle of it, the Holy Spirit whispered:

“Be still. Let Me lead.”

Because sometimes our need to control everything is what pushes us into anxiety and exhaustion.

God is calling us back to surrender.

🤍 A Vision Unwritten Is a Vision Unrealized

We talked about journaling with purpose, and the difference between dreaming and stewarding.

✨ Dreams become plans when you write them.

✨ A goal not written is only a wish.

✨ A calling without clarity becomes chaos.

Habakkuk 2:2 says,

“Write the vision and make it plain…”

If it’s not written, it’s not protected.

If it’s not written, it’s not intentional.

If it’s not written, it’s easy to forget.

We’re done letting our purpose live only in our minds.

🤍 Lessons From the Wilderness

We reflected on the Israelites—how a journey meant to take 10 days turned into 40 years because their mindset still lived in Egypt.

Sometimes the delay isn’t the enemy…

It’s us.

Fear.

Disobedience.

Comfort.

A refusal to trust God fully.

The wilderness was never meant to break them — it was meant to transform them.

🤍 Even the Anointed Feel Fear

We talked about the prophet Elijah—who called fire from heaven, yet ran when a threat came.

This reminds us:

Even those who have seen God move

can still face fear.

Fear doesn’t mean you’re weak.

Fear means you need to remember.

🤍 David: The One Nobody Expected

We talked about David, a “small” shepherd boy with “little experience,” who walked with confidence because he remembered what God already helped him defeat.

He didn’t look at the size of Goliath.

He looked at the size of his testimony.

And we asked ourselves:

How many times do we disqualify our own voice?

“Who am I?”

“My story isn’t big enough.”

But tonight we reminded each other:

Your story is assigned to somebody.

Your testimony is a weapon.

Your voice carries deliverance.

🤍 The Power of Community

We talked about the strength of godly community — how God uses women to sharpen women.

The enemy fights unity because women who stand together are dangerous to darkness.

This community is not casual.

This is spiritual alignment.

This is kingdom work.

🤍 Esther: Hidden, Prepared, Revealed

We ended with the story of Esther:

Hidden for a season.

Prepared in silence.

Revealed in purpose.

Used by God at the appointed time.

Tonight felt like God saying:

“Legacy Woman, come out.

Your season of hiding is over.

Your voice, your gift, your story — I need it.

How to Journal With Intention Using the S.O.A.P. Method

In a world full of noise, responsibilities, and constant movement, journaling is one of the most powerful ways a woman can slow down, breathe, and hear God clearly. At Legacy Woman, we encourage you to make journaling a daily rhythm—not just to write your thoughts, but to anchor your mind, your decisions, and your identity in the Word of God.

If you’ve ever wondered how to journal in a way that brings clarity, peace, and spiritual growth, the S.O.A.P. Method is the perfect place to start. It keeps your time with God simple, structured, and deeply meaningful.

Below is a step-by-step guide you can use every week.

What Is the S.O.A.P. Method?

S.O.A.P. is a practical Bible study and journaling method that helps you understand Scripture and apply it to your daily life.

S – Scripture

O – Observation

A – Application

P – Prayer

This method transforms your journaling from random notes into intentional faith-building moments.

How to Journal Using the S.O.A.P. Method (Step-by-Step)

1. S – Scripture

Write the Bible verse(s) you’re studying today.

Don’t rush. Read it slowly. Read it twice if you need to.

Example:

“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you…” – John 14:27

This helps you center your mind on God’s Word, not on the chaos around you.

2. O – Observation

Write down what you notice about the scripture.

Ask yourself:

  • What is happening in this verse?

  • Who is speaking?

  • What is the main message?

  • What stands out?

  • What does God want me to see?

Example:

“This verse shows that the peace Jesus gives is different from worldly peace. His peace is steady and supernatural.”

3. A – Application

This is where transformation happens.

Ask yourself:

  • How does this apply to my life right now?

  • What is God telling me?

  • What action do I need to take?

  • What does this change in my mindset, habits, or decisions?

Example:

“I need to surrender my stress about my schedule this week. God is calling me to walk in peace, not pressure. I will slow down and trust Him.”

4. P – Prayer

End by writing a short prayer based on what you learned.

Example:

“Lord, help me receive Your peace today. Quiet my mind and strengthen my faith. Teach me to trust You in every situation. Amen.”

This step seals everything you wrote and invites the Holy Spirit to guide you.

Why This Method Works

  • It keeps you focused.

  • It helps you hear God with clarity.

  • It builds spiritual discipline.

  • It turns journaling into transformation, not just venting.

  • It helps you see patterns, growth, and answered prayers over time.

This is how you grow deeper in God. This is how you develop spiritual maturity. This is how you become a Legacy Woman—built up in the Word, clear in purpose, and anchored in truth.

there are many other way to journal used what work best for you remember make time to hear from the lord.

🤍 Final Reflection

This community is rising.

This is more than meetings.

This is more than conversations.

This is holy work.

This is healing work.

This is legacy in motion.

Just tell me!
